one day, we'll live in paris

i am home! i had the most beautiful, inspiring, wonderful trip to paris and i wish i could've stayed for just a bit longer. i did so many things that will stay with me forever and i'll never forget.
we travelled for a long long time on monday after meeting up at half six in the morning. we when arrived in france we stopped at a teeny service station, and you wouldn't believe the difference i had already noticed from england. no greasy fast food restaurants or newsagents. only a lovely little french cafe with juice machines and a gift shop full of tasty sweets and ice creams and souvenirs. when it got dark, we walked down to a miniature carnival to celebrate bastille. we ate pink fluffy candyfloss and danced to live french music and watched fireworks.
on tuesday we took a trip down to parc asterix and i had a lovely time. i went on the big wooden rollercoaster and rode a horse on a magical carousel.
wednesday was my favourite. we first looked around the french markets where i bought a wonderful cream floaty shirt and some pastel pink nail varnish and some fresh raspberries which were delicious! next was the musee d'orsay which was utterly beautiful. i took endless photographs of the beautiful carved ceilings and the huge gold ornate clock on the wall. we sat on the rooftop and looked at the views over paris in the bright sunshine. we popped into the shops around the louvre and then went to the sacre coeur. i don't think i can say that i have ever felt so enchanted in my whole life. the white domed ceilings and stained glass windows and glowing candles. it was so so beautiful, i wish i was allowed to take pictures inside.

i went to the very top of the eiffel tower on thursday and did some shopping along the champs elysees. i also went on a bateux mouche which was basically a boat ride down the river seine. it was so relaxing. the view from the eiffel tower was magnificant!

yesterday we went to monets garden and then made a very long journey home.
